Christmas Makeup Haul | Lancome Parisian Beauty Box

12.31.2016

Good morning and Happy New Year's Eve!

Every year for Christmas, without fail, I receive either Lancôme or Clinique products from one of my grandmothers. This year I was sent products from the Lancôme Parisian Beauty Box

Among the products were a gorgeous eyeshadow palette, blush and cream highlighter duo, mascara, mascara base, lipsticks, and eyeliner. This set also comes with a stunning makeup bag, not that I need anymore bags. Remember when I mentioned I received items every year? There is always a makeup bag included. I may have more bags for makeup than I do actual makeup.

These eyeshadows were so lovely that I wanted to use them immediately. This is the warm and wearable look I ended up with.

The Definicils Mascara by Lancôme is one of my favorites, so I was super excited to see it was included. The Cils Booster XL Super Enhancing Mascara Base (say that three times fast) was also included. I haven't tried it out yet, but the gal at my local counter raves about this product, so I'm excited to give it a go! There was also the Le Crayon Kohl Eyeliner, but I'm not much of an eyeliner wearer. I'll most likely end up passing that along to a friend.

The two lipsticks featured in this kit are in the shades Designer Bloom and Lucky Kiss. I tried Lucky Kiss and loved it. It's a matte formula, but it is super hydrating and has a nice sheen. The blush is in Sheer Amourose and the highlighter is in Mauve Mystere; they are lovely shades, and I'm excited to play around with them.

I'm looking forward to using these products more. Lancôme has excellent quality makeup, and I would encourage you to check it out if you haven't already!

What makeup did you received for Christmas?
